Practitioner Spotlight: Cindy Rosas

Some people grow into their role. Others grow with it. Cindy Rosas has done both.
Cindy has been part of this practice since the very beginning. She started as our chiropractic assistant and receptionist, became our practice manager, and over time followed her natural calling into hands-on patient care. With a clear talent for working with people and a deep curiosity about healing, Cindy completed advanced training and certification in EPAT (Shockwave Therapy) and laser therapy — modalities that complement chiropractic and soft tissue work by reducing pain, calming inflammation, and accelerating the body’s healing process.
Over the past few years, Cindy has worked closely with me treating hundreds of patients, with every care plan thoughtfully designed and clinically overseen together. We review cases regularly, refine approaches, and stay focused on best practices. Her care is intentional, attentive, and patient-centered — qualities that matter just as much as the technology itself.
One recent case highlights her impact.
Audrey came in late last year with significant right shoulder pain. She wasn’t sleeping, over-the-counter medication wasn’t helping, and she had stopped playing tennis and attending yoga, two essential outlets for managing stress and staying healthy in a demanding job. After evaluating her shoulder, we identified a moderate to severe case of rotator cuff tendonitis.
Given the nature of her injury, Cindy was the right person to guide her care.
Over six visits, Cindy used laser therapy to help calm pain and inflammation so Audrey could sleep again, then incorporated shockwave therapy to stimulate healing and support tissue regeneration in the injured tendons. Today, Audrey is back to both tennis and yoga and moving comfortably and confidently again.
Stories like this are why I value having these technologies in the clinic and, more importantly, why Cindy’s presence matters so much. When advanced therapies are applied thoughtfully and integrated with hands-on care, the results can be powerful.
Patients like Doug often share similar experiences:
“From my very first session with Cindy, everything was clearly explained and professionally delivered. The treatment was quick, non-invasive, and far more comfortable than I expected. Over time, my pain decreased, my flexibility improved, and the results have lasted. I’ve never felt better.”
— Doug Peterson
Cindy commonly works with:
- Shoulder tendonitis
- Achilles tendinopathies
- Tennis elbow
- Plantar fasciitis
- Pre- and post-surgical recovery
-
And many other common and challenging soft tissue conditions
I once read that marketing is the generous act of solving someone’s problem — and then constantly asking, who else can we help? With that in mind, if you know someone who could benefit from Cindy’s work, we’d be honored to support them.
As a thank-you for trusting us with your care, when someone comes to us through a personal referral, we extend a $50 courtesy toward your next visit and $50 toward their first visit. It’s simply our way of taking care of the community that supports us.
In health,
Dr. Steve
